Welcome on board.
This forum has recently been transformed to serve a new purpose. I hope I've made it through that process without leaving too many flaws in my wake.
Post a thread about yourself in The Audience Chamber so we can all get to know each other and say Hello. From then on - just venture out onto the rest of the forums and enjoy yourself.
As for rules: I've decided not to make anything big for the moment. So far there's one rule that goes for everyone:
General Good Behavior Is Expected
This is to say that there will be no rude behavior of any kind. And remember: It's the offended party who deems whether they were offended or not. Gentle teasing is accepted, flames will get you a warning - and if they continue they'll get you banned. It's as simple as that.
In those forums that contain one GM's campaigns that GM has the power to delete posts and otherwise moderate his own campaigns. Hence you'll find that spam in campaigns will quickly and magically disappear.
In The Feast Hall the post count has been disabled so you won't earn your stars by posting there. This means no one will get on your back for double- or triple posting in those areas and you can just hang out and chat there. Do keep in mind the above point about good behaviour towards your fellow forum-members, though. Be nice.
In The Trophy Room and The Library double-posting is not allowed unless it is necessary due to the character limit on posts, but other than that I hope that silliness can be kept to a minimum. After all, there's plenty of room for silliness in The Feast Hall.
In The Library (except The Mimic's Chest) all writings are considered copyright of the poster, and if anyone wishes to use them elsewhere the poster should be asked for permission. Only fanfiction cannot be copyrighted due to previous copyrights on characters and settings.
That's about all I have to say with my 'official cap' on. Now go enjoy yourselves
